“For if you embrace the truth, it will release more freedom into your lives.” (John 8:32, TPT).
Knowing who and whose you are in Christ Jesus, is warfare, because your enemy will attack your identity in order to make you feel devalued and unloved. Your enemy is the accuser. He loves to make you wallow in your mistakes, past sin, and rehearse horrible and or hurtful things that have been said and or done to you.
Rehearsing hurtful words and or deeds, serves only to weaken the soul; at which point your life becomes fodder for the enemy’s destruction. So, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (I Peter 5:8, NIV).

When you embrace God’s Truth, you understand that you are loved. You understand that you are called by His Name, and have destiny and purpose. This is what freedom fighting is all about; knowing who and whose you are. When you walk in the love of God, you are fortified, able to stand against words that speak contrary information about who you really are.
Right now, if you are feeling low, beat-up, or just want to give up; knowing that you are loved by the Creator of the universe, is a great way to start walking in the truth. You are loved so much that Jesus gave His life on a cross for you so that you wouldn’t have to walk around feeling worthless. So that you would derive your worth and value from Him. Ephesians 2:10, is a favorite Scripture of mine; “We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!” (TPT). (How to become His poetry).
I encourage you to speak the words of Ephesians 2:10 aloud (this is true freedom fighting!); let them penetrate your soul. Then see if the truth of these words doesn’t set you free! God has great plans to bless you with destiny and purpose; He has taken this action out of the greatest love for you.
Blessings,
Jacquie ♥

Amen! Very encouraging!

Thank you for putting this word into today’s atmosphere. To write out the heart of God is to engage our enemy full force. We are indeed His poetry and are His hands of goodness and mercy on the battlefield. Every word that glorifies the Father damages the strongholds of our enemy and serves to bring restoration to those who have been wounded in the fight. Bless you in your mission today!

Thank you Jacquie for this important reminder. The enemy has away of slipping in and reminding us of past sins and mistakes. But after we repent, we are free in Jesus!

Thanks Michelle! I couldn’t agree more. I love that as we hold His Word in our heart, and apply it, we see it work, and then we see our faith and trust grow. What joy!
