In this time of abundant opinions, contradictory testimonies, staged, and genuine upheaval, there is One thing that remains True. The Word of God. And faith in God, translates to “all is well” (even when it doesn’t appear to be). All is well, and will be well, when you trust God to be who He says He is, and that He will do what He says He will do; for He is the only One who truly can do anything about this present darkness.

We are promised in God’s Word, that our “heartfelt and persistent prayers can accomplish much” as we trust and believe in God and His promises. One important lesson to be garnered from this time in history is that faith is not based on circumstance. When we believe in God the Almighty, we do not allow ourselves to be moved by what we see, think, or feel. We take in the reality of the situation, do what we know to do (such as pray and speak the truth in love), and then “we stand.”

Now our faith has every opportunity to grow as we behold the wonder of our loving Father. Before there can be victory, there is battle. The term “conquering hero” means just that. The hero has to overcome the enemy. And to be clear, people are Not our enemy. We are at war with evil. And the Bible tells us that we “overcome evil with good.” So, as you go about your day, do all that you can to remind yourself that God’s Truth will prevail. You are not in this alone. Place your focus on the One who loves you, and who is always with you. He will never desert you.

Father, we thank you for your faithfulness in love, in word and deed. Thank you for sending your Son to die for our sins. As we believe and confess Jesus is Lord, He forgives us of all that we have thought, said, or done, that is against God. Thank you that no matter what goes on in the world, you are greater. You have overcome the darkness with your marvelous light. Thank you for loving us with your very life.

“The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” James 5:16.

“Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].” Ephesians 6:13.

“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good. Romans 12:21.

Blessings of trust in the Almighty,
