While more is yet to come in this time of upheaval and uncertainty, there is promise of blessing for those that love the Lord. Here is one practical way to keep your mind on things above, things yet to come, and be blessed as a promise from God.
“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3.
I just finished reading the book of Revelation aloud, and the difference between this and reading silently is palpable. The sense of Truth, conviction, love, instruction, and consequence is full. I expect to be reading and rereading this book, taking notes, and walking through prayerfully over an undesignated time, that only God knows.

The Word tells us “the time is near,” and so it was. I fully believe the time is here; for we are witnessing John’s vision coming to past. As we go forward, I pray that we His Bride, will continue to press in, and not shrink back. That we will seek God and His Truth, direction, and love. That we will reach out in love to those around us as His image bearers. And that we will “look up, for our redemption draweth nigh.” Yes, the time is near, and the time is here.
Blessings to you,
Jacquie ♥

Much closer than we believed! So much of the Bible is being fulfilled every single day. Scary stuff!

Yes, the time is near for something new. I suspect the unprepared will not like what is coming but the Bride has been prepared well. The next season is going to be remarkable indeed.

Great idea to read the scriptures aloud. I’ll have to do that! Thank you! As to the time being short, yes, indeed. We must not grow weary in watching for the return of the Bridegroom!

I like your ” let us press in and not shrink back.” Now more than ever GOD is calling HIS Church to draw near. If we have ample time to do this because of the virus situation, then we should have no excuse not to draw close to HIS word. I just finished Revelation too. It is such a comfort don’t you think?

May more and more people draw closer to the Lord. God’s timetable is His alone, but He encourages us to be prepared.
