“I have come as light into the world. I came so that whoever believes in Me would not stay in darkness.” John 12:46 (ICB).
Darkness encroaches on all sides, and living through a world wide pandemic is like the whole world being submerged in further gloom. Not only that, but for those that care about the lives of others, (including their own), we look like a nation of mask-wearing obsessive compulsives immersed in sanitizers – a type of external cleansing.
Darkness is only all encompassing until the Light shows up. “God is in the Light. We should live in the light too. If we live in the Light, we share fellowship with each other. And when we live in the Light, the blood of the death of Jesus, God’s Son, is making us clean from every sin.” I John 1:7. Here is where we get to experience true soul cleansing!
Life in the Spirit of Light
“In the past you were full of darkness, but now you are full of light in the Lord. So live like children who belong to the Light. Light brings every kind of goodness, right living and truth.” Ephesians 5:8-9. FFA (Feeling Freer Already).
How should we live? “So be very careful how you live. Do not live like those who are not wise. Live wisely. I mean that you should use every chance you have for doing good, because these are evil times.” vv 5-16.
As you walk with the Spirit of Light, you have the opportunity to live each day with deeper purpose; expelling the darkness with the love and light of Christ Jesus.

Being thankful to the Living God is a wonderful thing. He delights in our worship. praises and thanksgiving. As we continue to seek Him, He is ready to bless us and equip us to be a light in this world

Good words Jacquie. We are reminded that the “light filled” have an expectation that goes beyond the confines of this world.
