Did you know that God has outlined what He wants us to wear? As you might have guessed, His clothing is always in style, never wears out, and has eternal value and rewards. I have included a sampling of how to dress yourself each day, and sometimes moment by moment:
It was faith that immersed you into Jesus, the Anointed One, and now you are covered and clothed with His anointing. Galatians 3:27 (TPT).
You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy…. Psalm 30:11 (NIV).
I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of His righteousness,…. Isaiah 61:10 (NIV).
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12,14 (NIV).
I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high. Luke 24:49 (NIV).
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. Romans 13:14 (NIV).
All of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” I Peter 5:5 (NIV).
Now that you are well-dressed in your Spirit-Clothes, you will want the most important accessory: “Don’t ever forget kindness and truth. Wear them like a necklace. Write them on your heart as if on a tablet.” Proverbs 3:3 (NCV).
And now dear friends, be renewed in your thinking as Romans 12:1-2 direct. May you be clothed with the Spirit of God. May you know His love and purpose in great measure, remembering that putting on love binds compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience together in perfect unity.

Thanks, Jacquie. Colossians 3:12 is a favorite verse of mine. It is a good way to start the day clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Then covering these virtues with a cloak of love. A wonderful goal for all of us. 💓

Amen! Our Heavenly Father clothes us through His blessed Word to go forward in His Holy name. His Spirit is always at work.
