There was a man sent from God whose name was John…. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. John 1:6,8.
We too, are called to be witnesses to the light, which is Christ Jesus. We do this by decreasing self: “I must decrease and He must increase.” John 3:30. As we walk humbly before our God in loving surrender, we become radiant reflections of His light.

Today, may we be purified, cleansed and made whole by what the Christ child brought; eternal life. May we be like Jesus who was a radiant reflection in perfection of the Father’s light.
With Christmastime blessings,
Jacquie ♥

“As we walk humbly before our God in loving surrender, we become radiant reflections of His light.” Beautifully written – A wonderful devotional.

Decreasing in self is an ongoing battle. But as we do, we reflect our Savior to those around us and that is an honor to represent Him. I like that photo. 🤗
