For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
    the Lord bestows favor and honor.

 At a time when least expected,
 At a time when least deserved,
 It comes and I feel protected;
 Grace and mercy steadfastly served.
  
 Awash in the presence of this moment,
 Approaching bowed on bended knee;
 Love and forgiveness encircle me.
  
 It’s always when least expected,
 And always when least deserved;
 Prompts that I am protected with
 Grace and mercy lovingly served.

undefined In the heat of a moment, or when I’m not thinking as I should, grace and mercy come to remind me, that I am not in this life alone. God is my sun and shield, and by His grace I am called to a higher place, His love. Have you experienced those times when His gentle grace has given you a moment to respond with gentleness?
