We participated in the Harvest Festival last week at a local church. It was a joy to minister to children ages 3-10 years of age. The atmosphere was charged with brotherly love, homemade soups and stews, as well as cakes, pies, cookies, and more.
The Wordless Book was shared with approximately 46 children. (We were unable to keep track of the steady streams of children wanting their hands painted along with Mr. Ken’s balloon animals). I, [Jacquie], did my part as well; popping balloons (oops), and making gospel caterpillar bracelets.

The children were ecstatic at the thought of adults paying attention to them with love and care. This shared exchange was delightful. Popped balloons, caterpillar bracelets, balloon animals, and painted hands, done in love is huge because of the value it imparts. The overflow of our confident hope in Christ, is healing, and a joy to those around us.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.
Have you noticed the simplest things when done in love make such a difference to the children, and really all those around you?
Blessings,
Jacquie ♥

It was fun Deb! I included the Wordless Book at the end of my post today: https://joycottage.blog/2019/11/06/the-journey/ You will see the five colors, and their meanings. When we paint butterflies, rockets, etc. we use these five colors, and share in story fashion what each one means. I hope you enjoy ♥

You are right the simple acts can bring great joy. Taking time to share nature, flowers, acorns, bees, and butterflies, can brings many smiles. Making sure to take time to add hugs and teach God’s love along the way.

It is in the simplest things that we find happiness—popping balloons (lol) and spending time with precious children. Thanks for sharing your life Jacquie! 🤗
