Father, I desire to “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to fully please (You) in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for (Your) precepts].” Amen. (Colossians 1:10, AMP).
I hope this is your prayer as well. I love praying God’s word because He promises that His Word doesn’t return empty or void; that He is not a man that He should lie. In other words, we can trust that as we speak His words, He will bring His will to past.
May you grow in His love, displaying the attributes pleasing to your heavenly Father; Remembering that He loves you with an everlasting love.

I am pondering this today, “He is not a man that He should lie”. That is such a simple but profound truth from Scripture. How many really believe this? If we truly believed that we would accept every word from Jesus and follow it completely. I am so glad A) He is not a man with a duplictious ‘self’ nature and B) He never lies but every word that comes from Him, indeed His very being, is truth. This means that He will not change.
There is no deviance from truth. It is like light. Just as there is no such thing as darkness, only the absence of light, there is no such thing as lies, only the absence of truth. Truth and light are His nature, His standard, everything else, including us, fall far short of Him. I am so glad we can depend, rely and lean our entire being on His truth.

Thank you for commenting Homer. Yes, the Truth that God is not a man that He should lie, is tough in this world filled with as many “truths” as there are people. This is why I am grateful to spend my life getting to know my Father, His Word; and experience all that goes with this most amazing relationship. I pray that at this stage in my walk, I believe Him more than not, but I know for sure that God is deserving of all my love, faith, and devotion. God bless you and Wanda. ♥
